Designed Around You

This renovation is more than an upgrade — it is an opportunity to better serve our members. After 20+ years, the Clubhouse no longer fits the needs of our growing and evolving community. This plan addresses comfort, accessibility, performance, and experience.

Key Drivers:

  • Overcrowded lounge and dining
  • Aging kitchen and equipment
  • Limited flexible/private use space
  • No outdoor covered seating
  • Missed opportunities to engage all age groups

Main Level of Clubhouse

Point of Interest:

  • Arriving at the Club and entering through the main foyer, we will still have the same look with dramatic beaming and updated finishes.
  • The lounge increases to 96 seats with a three-sided view of the course and floor-to ceiling picture windows with a fireplace.
  • On both sides of the lounge, new semi covered and conditioned deck spaces will give members ample space to relax.
  • Upscale dining will receive a new wine wall and double as a multi-purpose space for Club events.
  • The current main dining room will convert into the family dining space, creating a similar look and feel to the lounge but appropriate for all ages.
  • The kitchen will expand, including a complete reorientation, taking a portion of the current banquet space.
  • The banquet space taken over by the kitchen is replaced by covering a portion of the unused deck and expanding.
  • The Golf Shop will receive a makeover along with the upstairs restroom update.

Basement Level of Clubhouse

Point of Interest:

  • The administrative staff, excluding the General Manager, will be moved to the lower level of the Club.
  • The boardrooms and private dining areas will be repositioned to the current administrative space, enhancing their accessibility and functionality.
  • The existing snack and honor bar will be consolidated in a single location, providing members with year-round access to a wider array of options.
  • A new area for golf cart storage will be created, along with general storage solutions, addressing the Club's current deficiencies in this regard.
  • The locker rooms will undergo a substantial renovation to improve their overall appearance and functionality.

Additional Benefits:

  • Additional parking spaces will be created in the main lot to comply with city ordinances.
  • The Club's exterior will undergo renovations, featuring new doors, windows, and landscaping that align with the updated clock and cart storage areas.
  • A new elevator will be installed for members and staff to ensure compliance with ADA requirements, greatly assisting the kitchen staff who currently transport items up and down the stairs.

What to Expect — And When

This timeline is estimated, subject to member approval, and may vary based on the permitting process, weather conditions, etc.

 

Temporary facilities expected to be located at the pool and racquet courts will be developed, along with using the GLC to run golf operations.

 

Sequencing of work will be scheduled in an effort to minimize disruption to the greatest extent possible while moving as quickly as is reasonable.

Will the Conceptual Plans Change?

It’s natural to expect some alterations during any renovation. However, we are dedicated to the space we showcased in our presentation.

The Board is committed to the Roadmap plan and continues to improve the Club and its facilities. In fact, we believe that investing in the Clubhouse helps set those plans in motion and enables future funding.
